FORT MORGAN, CO (Sept. 14, 2026) — In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CommonSpirit St. Elizabeth Hospital is proud to announce the return of “Mammo Mondays.” Throughout the month of October, the hospital will offer extended hours for screening mammograms every Monday to make life-saving preventive care more accessible for busy community members.
Early detection is the most effective tool in the fight against breast cancer. By offering appointments from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Monday in October, St. Elizabeth Hospital aims to provide flexible scheduling for working professionals, parents, and anyone who finds it difficult to secure an appointment during standard business hours.
“We know that balancing work, family, and personal health can be a challenge,” said Ali Cochran, Director of Multiple Service Lines at St. Elizabeth Hospital. “By opening our doors for 12 hours every Monday in October, we want to remove the barriers to screening and ensure that our community can prioritize their health without disrupting their busy schedules.”
How to Schedule an Appointment
Appointments are required for all screenings. Patients can schedule their mammogram through one of the following methods:
- Phone: Call Central Scheduling at 970-542-3314
- Online: Schedule directly through your MyChart patient portal
Most insurance plans cover annual preventive mammograms at little to no cost to the patient. For those without a primary care provider (PCP), St. Elizabeth Hospital has established a seamless follow-up process: our team will receive all screening results to ensure every patient receives the necessary guidance and follow-up care.
