About Oswaldo Grenardo, MD

Oswaldo "Ozzie" A. Grenardo, MD, MBA, MSHA, serves as Chief Medical Officer. He provides overall strategic direction and leadership in clinical excellence, quality and patient safety for the sustained success of the 20 hospitals and 240 clinics across the CommonSpirit Mountain Region. 

Dr. Grenardo most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer for CommonSpirit across Colorado, Kansas and Utah. In this role, he inspired this region to become a more diverse, equitable and inclusionary organization. He was instrumental in launching the Health Equity & Advancement Fund in 2021. Previously, Dr. Grenardo served as a family medicine physician in Southeast Aurora for 15 years.

Dr. Grenardo received his bachelor's degree from Stanford University and master's degrees in business administration and health administration and his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Colorado.
