CommonSpirit is thrilled to announce a fantastic new partnership with a beloved Colorado native and one of the most respected figures in women's soccer: Lindsey Heaps!
Lindsey’s incredible career on the global soccer stage includes being an instrumental member - and current captain - of the U.S. Women's National Team. Her time with USWNT includes winning two Olympic medals (gold and bronze) and contributing to a FIFA World Cup Championship.
Lindsey, who has been playing professional soccer overseas, will return home to join the new Denver Summit FC professional women’s soccer club this July. CommonSpirit is the Official Health Care Partner of Denver Summit FC as well as the club’s first Founding Partner. Additionally, the CommonSpirit Performance Center is currently under construction and will serve as the training home for Denver Summit FC.
More important than her on-pitch accomplishments, Lindsey has long been a role model for aspiring athletes, showcasing dedication and skill at the highest level of the sport.
Lindsey’s partnership with CommonSpirit is an exciting opportunity for us to collaborate with an athlete who embodies so many positive values. Lindsey will be dedicating time to connect with our patients, sharing her personal journey and offering encouragement.
Beyond our care settings, Lindsey will help support our community initiatives, particularly those focused on health and wellness and addressing food security. Her involvement will help bring valuable attention and energy to these important programs, allowing us to reach more people and make a greater impact.
Lindsey's platform helps CommonSpirit highlight the important work we do for the communities we serve. She's enthusiastic about getting involved with some of the projects we have planned alongside Denver Summit FC this season, further strengthening the connection between our organizations and the community.
