DODGE CITY, KS (July 21, 2025) – CommonSpirit Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanna Koel as the Foundation Director for the St. Catherine Health Foundation in Western Kansas, effective June 14.
Koel brings a wealth of experience in healthcare foundation leadership to the role, with a proven track record of leading successful fundraising campaigns, implementing effective donor management processes, and managing impactful philanthropic events.
Prior to joining CommonSpirit Health, Koel served as the Marketing and Foundation Director for the Rawlins County Health Center in Atwood, KS, since 2007.

Koel will be responsible for leading the St. Catherine Health Foundation's fundraising efforts, building relationships with donors, and promoting the foundation's mission to support the health and well-being of the western Kansas community. The St. Catherine Health Foundation supports St. Catherine Hospital - Garden City, St. Catherine Hospital - Dodge City, and Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital.
