When to Seek Treatment

Some soreness is common with physical activity—but persistent or worsening symptoms should not be ignored. Leaving an injury untreated can extend recovery time and may result in long-term damage.

We recommend seeking professional evaluation if you experience:

  • Ongoing or worsening pain
  • Difficulty bearing weight
  • Limited range of motion
  • Popping, grinding, or cracking sensations
  • Swelling or inflammation
  • Throbbing pain
  • Weakness or instability

Leading-Edge Diagnostics

When you’re injured, time matters. The Hybl Center offers state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, including onsite X-ray and ultrasound, allowing for faster evaluations and more efficient treatment planning.

No unnecessary delays. No waiting for answers.
Just expert care—right when you need it.

Diagnosing Your Injury

Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of effective treatment. At the Hybl Center, our specialists begin with a thorough review of your medical history and a detailed discussion of your symptoms, activity level, and any recent injury or trauma.

Following a comprehensive physical exam, diagnostic imaging—such as onsite X-ray or ultrasound—may be used to determine the extent of the injury and guide your care plan.

Many injuries respond well to conservative treatment, including rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE). When additional care is needed, we offer a full spectrum of treatment options, including:

  • Arthroscopy for joint diagnosis and repair
  • Cast immobilization or functional bracing
  • Manipulation under anesthesia
  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications
  • Physical therapy and guided rehabilitation
  • Steroid and ultrasound-guided injections
  • Surgical intervention when appropriate
  • Targeted therapeutic exercise
  • Spinal traction to relieve pressure

Providers

The physicians and care teams at the Hybl Center are CommonSpirit Health experts dedicated to helping you feel better, move better, and perform at your best. Our caregivers are here to treat, heal, and inspire—every step of the way.
