About Konstantyn Szwajkun, MD

Dr. Konstantyn Szwajkun, MD, specializes in Cardiology, Interventional Internal Medicine, and Cardiovascular Disease at CommonSpirit Cardiology Jordan Valley. With over 42 years of practicing medicine, his care philosophy is rooted in a deep commitment to patient well-being, leveraging his extensive experience to provide expert diagnosis and treatment. He aims to offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, ensuring patients understand their conditions and treatment pathways through clear communication and a patient-first approach.

Dr. Szwajkun received his medical education from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship in Internal Medicine. He continued his Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University. He pursued a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines. 

He holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.
