About CaraMarie Guilfoyle, MD

Cara Guifoyle, MD, believes in helping patients feel comfortable, especially when they are most scared and vulnerable. Extending the warmth and respect she would to friends and family, Dr. Guifoyle exudes optimism and empowers women with the strength to face challenges as a team, rather than alone.

Dr. Guifoyle received her medical education and training in Pennsylvania, including a bachelor’s degree in biology and philosophy at the University of Scranton; medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine; general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital; and breast surgical oncology fellowship at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Outside of work, Dr. Guifoyle enjoys mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, yoga and hiking, as well as spending time with family.
