Streamlined Waiting Room and Triage Process

At Longmont United Hospital, we are continually assessing and improving our processes to provide a smooth and comfortable experience for patients from the minute they come through our doors. We aim for patients to see a provider within 15 minutes of arrival – a goal we often meet or exceed. During busier times, we utilize a special process that allows us to move patients from our waiting room to a designated, comfortable space where we can begin running labs and gathering samples while the patient is seen by a provider. We also strive to intake, assess, treat, and release patients in under two hours – while making sure all concerns are addressed and patients feel comfortable with their diagnosis and treatment plan.
