Limb Preservation Program
As a leading Level I Trauma Center, St. Anthony Hospital is equipped to manage the most complex limb-threatening cases from the moment they arrive, with the same team following every patient through reconstruction and recovery.
About
When a limb is threatened, the outcome often comes down to having the right team to save it. That’s the focus of the Limb Preservation Program at CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital, where we prioritize saving limbs rather than removing them. Whether a limb is threatened by traumatic injury, persistent infection, vascular disease, cancer, or another condition, our goal remains the same: to preserve as much of the limb’s form and function as possible.
Our Limb Preservation Program is championed by Dr. Adam Levy, plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and Dr. Lenny Grossman, orthopedic trauma surgeon. Our team of experts works directly with our peers in oncology, vascular surgery, orthopedics, therapy and other specialties to create personalized patient plans for the best chance of a successful outcome.
If you or a loved one is facing a difficult diagnosis or a serious injury that threatens a limb, our Limb Preservation Program clinicians are here to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and guide you through your options. Talk with your specialist to be connected with our Limb Preservation team.
