About Wei Peng, MD

Wei Peng, MD, works in pulmonary care, helping people with conditions such as acute respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, and severe sepsis and septic shock. He believes in treating every patient as if they are family or friends.

Dr. Peng attended China’s Tongji Medical College for his bachelor’s degree, respiratory medicine master’s and doctorate, and internal medicine residency. He also did a Welcome Trust fellowship in the respiratory lab at St. Thomas Hospital, University of London; psychiatric internship at Washington University in St Louis; internal medicine internship and residency at University of Kansas Medical Center; and internal medicine residency and fellowship in pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Peng enjoys traveling.
