About Vickie Bailey, MD

Dr. Vickie Bailey, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified physician who specializes in neonatal and perinatal medicine. Dr. Bailey serves as Medical Director of St. Francis Hospital, Mercy Hospital, St. Anthony North Hospital, and Longmont United Hospital, as well as Executive Medical Director of Women's and Infants Services for CommonSpirit’s Mountain Region.

A strong advocate for compassionate, family-centered care, Dr. Bailey values her work within the CommonSpirit system, where the mission emphasizes serving the most vulnerable members of the community and supporting the entire family unit. She finds deep fulfillment in caring for premature and critically ill infants across the full continuum of care — from the delivery room through discharge — and watching her smallest patients grow and thrive into healthy babies.

Dr. Bailey completed her undergraduate education at Eastern New Mexico University and earned graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences and completed her postgraduate medical training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Outside of medicine, she is a wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her family, reading, and crafting.
