Terry Groff, MD

Dr. Terry Groff, MD, is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at CommonSpirit Obstetrics & Gynecology Fort Morgan. He holds a profound philosophy centered on the miracle of a safe pregnancy and joyful birth. He is dedicated to optimizing every woman's health and well-being across her lifespan. 

Dr. Groff completed his undergraduate education in Chemistry and Psychology before earning his Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University in 1972. His early career included a Rotating Surgical Internship at Naval Hospital Boston, followed by a distinguished period as a Naval Flight Surgeon. He completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1982, and further specialized with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Dr. Groff was appointed Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in 1986, after which he maintained a thriving private practice in Corpus Christi, Texas, until 2016. Most recently, he has served on the medical staff at East Morgan County Hospital.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Groff is a prolific reader, enjoys traveling, and finds pleasure in cooking, gardening, and photography. He is particularly fond of the clear night skies of Colorado and ensures he maintains seasonal access to the Colorado Symphony in Denver, indulging his passion for music and culture.
