Susan Wood, NNP

Susan Wood, NNP, DNP, is a neonatal nurse practitioner in St. Francis Hospital’s NICU. Susan's practice focuses on compassionate, family-centered neonatal care, emphasizing clear communication, thorough patient and family education, and the mentorship of new providers.

Susan earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Regis University, where she received the Doctor of Nursing Practice Excellence Award. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, and her Associate Degree in Nursing from Arapahoe Community College.

In her free time, Susan enjoys golfing, skiing, trapshooting, and traveling. She also values spending quality time with her family.
