About Sunil Jani, MD
Sunil Jani, MD, FAAOS, is an orthopedic and sports medicine physician at CommonSpirit Orthopedics Longmont. Dr. Jani's care philosophy centers on treating each patient as an individual. He strives to get to know his patients, believing that taking the time to hear their stories is crucial for diagnosis, patient education, and collaboration. His goal is to help develop the best treatment options to help his patients return to the activities they love.
Dr. Jani completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Taos Orthopedic Institute. He performed his Orthopedic Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He earned his graduate degree from the University of California San Francisco and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Eager to embrace all that Colorado offers, Dr. Jani enjoys skiing, mountain biking, running, and hiking. In the past, he competed in freestyle footbag (hacky-sack) tournaments worldwide. Though he no longer competes professionally, he still finds great enjoyment in playing.
