Melissa Liebowitz, MD

Dr. Melissa Liebowitz, MD, specializes in neonatal and perinatal medicine and pediatrics at St. Francis Hospital’s NICU. Dr. Liebowitz's philosophy centers on building trust with her patients and their families by providing patient-centered care. She treats her patients as if they were members of her own family, prioritizing the understanding of their values and utilizing shared decision-making to create treatment plans that are deeply focused on both the patient and their family.

Dr. Liebowitz earned her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she also pursued a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship.

In her personal time, Dr. Liebowitz enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and running.
