About Marissa Salvati, NP

Marissa Salvati, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiology  at CommonSpirit Heart & Vascular Specialists Summit. Marissa is passionate about working collaboratively with patients to find the best care that fits their individual needs. She values trust and clear communication, ensuring patients feel heard and comfortable. 

Marissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. Her extensive nursing experience includes time as a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as time in medical, surgical, pediatric, and PACU units at various healthcare facilities throughout her career. Marissa received training in outpatient medicine as a Family Nurse Practitioner and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

Outside of her practice, Marissa enjoys anything outdoors, including hiking, skiing, and camping. She also enjoys yoga and travel.
