About Lee Fonseca, NP

Lee Fonseca, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics at CommonSpirit Orthopedics St. Mary-Corwin. Lee believes that open communication and trust are fundamental to the provider-patient relationship. He is committed to empowering patients by providing them with the information and support they need to actively participate in their care plans, ultimately achieving optimal health outcomes.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. His career began as an RN in a Level II trauma center before transitioning to surgical specialties, focusing on spine and orthopedic care.

Outside of work, Lee enjoys hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and spending time with his family, including his wife, Kathy, and their grandchildren. He also enjoys working on classic cars and is a devoted fan of the Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets.
