About Lauren Kim, MD

Lauren Kim, MD, believes in the power of compassion and being present with people in their healthcare journey. Dr. Kim feels that people are made up of mind, body, and spirit, and by only treating symptoms, the root cause and how all three of those things are interconnected might be missed. Dr. Kim is an advocate for preventive care and believes that it is the best way to add life to her patients’ years. Dr. Kim enjoys all aspects of primary care.

In Claremont, California, Dr. Kim received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Pomona College. She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University of Medicine and completed her residency at UCLA Family Residency.

Dr. Kim loves to go on adventures and road trips. She enjoys traveling to National Parks, playing volleyball, snowboarding, and camping. She has been learning more about her Korean heritage by learning the language and trying new recipes. Dr. Kim also hopes to learn how to surf and salsa dance.

Ratings

Ratings are calculated via patient surveys collected from the Medical Practice survey from Press Ganey using the Mean score for each of the four questions shown below. Star scores are determined by dividing the mean score by 20 so a 100% Mean score divided into 5ths results in a 5 star rating.
