About Krystle Clifton, PA-C
Krystle Clifton, PA-C, MSPAS, is a dedicated neonatal physician assistant and Colorado native with a passion for caring for the smallest and most vulnerable patients. She earned her undergraduate degree from Fort Lewis College in 2011 and then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Mount Union, graduating in 2017.
Krystle then pursued advanced specialty training through a one-year NICU Physician Assistant fellowship at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. During this intensive fellowship, she gained advanced expertise in managing critically ill and premature newborns in a high-acuity Level III/IV NICU setting.
Krystle’s passion for neonatal medicine is deeply personal. Her interest in the field began after witnessing her sister’s journey delivering two micro-preemies who required specialized care in the NICU at St. Francis Hospital. Experiencing firsthand the expertise, compassion, and teamwork of the neonatal providers profoundly shaped her career path and inspired her commitment to supporting fragile infants and their families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
Outside of the hospital, she is a proud and busy boy mom who embraces the adventure, energy, and joy that come with raising her sons. Whether at work in the NICU or at home with her family, she brings dedication, heart, and resilience to everything she does.
