About Kristin Laporte, MD

Kristin Laporte, MD, FACOG, encourages her patients to be involved in their medical care decisions. She explains all treatment options so they can make an informed decision. Listening to patients and having effective communication is important to her and builds a better patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Laporte provides complete obstetrical care and stresses preventative health care like routine annual exams as an integral part of the care provided. 

Dr. Laporte earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from University of California, San Diego, California. She attended medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Laporte completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and trained in the da Vinci robotic surgical system.

Dr. Laporte’s free time is spent with her son and husband. They enjoy taking walks, hiking and gardening. They moved to Colorado to be closer to family and are excited to explore the area.
