About Khyla Burrows, MD

Dr. Khyla Burrows, MD, is an OB/GYN at CommonSpirit Obstetrics & Gynecology High Country Health Frisco. Her primary goal is to build trusting partnerships with patients through attentive and personalized care during all life stages. She centers her approach on patient education and advocacy to provide comprehensive and equitable obstetric and gynecologic care, focusing on informed and shared decision-making in a safe and supportive environment.

Dr. Burrows earned her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She received her MD from the University of Colorado, Anschutz, and completed her residency at the University of California, Davis, where she received awards for teaching, excellence in minimally invasive surgery, and excellence in family planning.

Growing up in Winter Park, Colorado, Dr. Burrows started ski racing at a young age and skied for the University of Colorado, Boulder's Alpine Ski Team. She still loves to ski with her friends and family, whether it is backcountry, cross-country, or at a resort. She also loves to trail run, bike, swim, and spend time with her family.
