About Elisabeth Staerz, MD

Dr Elisabeth Staerz, MD, Board Certified Pediatrician and a board certified internal medicine physician in Germany , loves pediatric primary care. She is passionate about every child's right to a medical home and feels that excellent care is best delivered when child, parent and pediatrician develop a long term relationship and trust. She has provided care in the same small practice setting for the last 19 years and has seen many of her first new born babies turn into wonderful adults. She was born in Germany, graduated from the Medical School at Eberhard Karls Universitaet in Tübingen ,Germany , finished an internal medicine residency at the Robert Bosch Krankenhaus in Stuttgart and completed a pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Colorado in 1992. She worked as an after-hours pediatrician for Children's from 1992 to 2000 and became the owner of Pediatrics at Cherry Creek in 2000. She has been training medical students for the University of Colorado Medical School, was a member of the Children's Hospital Medical Board for 6 years ,and served as vice chair /QI committee member for the pediatric department at RMC in the past. She enjoys skiing, attending the Colorado Symphony with her husband . She has two grown daughters.
