About Ashley VanderJagt, PA-C

Ashley is a board certified Physician Assistant specializing in neurosurgery. She provides neurosurgical care to patients in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, including pre-operative and post-operative management, as well as assisting Dr. John Hudson in the operating room. Ashley received her Bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to PA school she was a Clinical Director for a non-profit and coordinated/participated in medical mission trips to Nicaragua. She graduated from St. Francis University in Loretto, Penn. with honors receiving her Masters of Medical Sciences degree and became board certified through the Red Rocks Physician Assistant Program in Lakewood, Colo. Upon graduation she worked in orthopedic surgery for two years prior to transitioning into neurosurgery.

Ashley is an active member of multiple professional affiliations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She has a strong passion for patient education and treating every patient like she would her own family. She demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills for interacting with a wide variety of professional and patient populations. She excels as a member of a multidisciplinary team and believes collaboration in medicine is the key to effective patient care.

Ashley is a Colorado native living in the Denver area and spends most her free time with family and close friends. She enjoys traveling the world with her husband and exploring the mountains whenever possible including camping, hiking, and snowboarding.
