About Aliya Hasan, MD

Aliya Hasan, MD, MBA, is a board certified, fellowship trained gastroenterologist specializing in stomach, digestive and gastrointestinal-related issues. She received her medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Hasan’s fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology was done at the University of Colorado Health Sciences. She most recently had an academic appointment as the Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Colorado.

Her philosophy of care is to empower the patient through education, reassurance and timely care. She partners with patients to come up with an evaluation and treatment plan that takes into account their concerns and preferences, as well as integrating her expertise.
