Jolian Dahl, MD

Dr. Jolian Dahl, MD, specializes in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Associates St. Anthony, where his care philosophy centers on building trust by meticulously explaining complex and often daunting surgical diseases. He believes that every patient and their family deserves a thorough understanding of the condition he is offering to treat, coupled with ample opportunity to ask any and all questions regarding their care. This commitment ensures patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment journey.

Dr. Dahl earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder. His medical journey continued at Emory University School of Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Further specializing, Dr. Dahl completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency/Fellowship at University of Virginia Health. He also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Virginia School of Public Health.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Dahl's greatest joy comes from going on adventures with his family of five. He was once a world-class Ultimate Frisbee player, and he hopes to return to playing again. He also looks forward to introducing his children to backpacking and mountain biking.
