About Sarah Edwards, MD

Dr. Sarah Edwards, MD, is a Maternal and Fetal Medicine physician at CommonSpirit Southern Colorado Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Edwards deeply understands the challenges her patients may face and does everything in her power to support them during this special time. Her experience and passion allow her to take a collaborative approach with patients and their families to improve maternal and fetal care.

Dr. Edwards received her medical education from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her Internship, Residency, and Fellowship all at Madigan Army Medical Center.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Edwards loves a challenging hike and looks forward to many camping trips in Colorado. Her husband and two kids, Jack and Riley, are her world. As a former active duty military member who served for 15 years, veterans and military service personnel hold a special place in her heart. She also has a wild cat named Taco and a tame Aussiedoodle named Koda.
