About Aakash Thakral, MD
Dr. Aakash Thakral is a Pain Medicine specialist at CommonSpirit Pain Specialists at St. Anthony and CommonSpirit Pain Specialists at Longmont. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of pain-related issues, from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Dr. Thakral earned his undergraduate degree and attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University Health, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Rutgers RWJMS-Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. He then pursued a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Thakral is board-certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine through the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Thakral enjoys playing tennis, running, exploring Colorado hiking, discovering new restaurants, and rooting for the Washington Commanders.
