About Claire Braam, NP

Claire Braam, NP, is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Gastroenterology at CommonSpirit Gastroenterology Durango. Her care philosophy places the patient at the center of the care team. Listening to every patient's concerns with patience and an open mind is her first and most important goal.

Claire earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in 2014, and gained 10 years of experience as an RN in dialysis, surgical, and hepatology care. She completed an Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Colorado in 2024.

Outside of her practice, Claire enjoys snowboarding, skate skiing, running, traveling, reading, photography, and building LEGOs with her son.
