About Hind Himedan, MD Resident

Hind Omer Himedan, MD, is a family medicine physician at St. Anthony North Family Medicine Orchard. Her care philosophy is centered on compassion, respect, and clear communication. She believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients by truly listening to their concerns and involving them in every step of their care. Dr. Himedan is particularly passionate about empowering her patients to make informed decisions that support their health and well-being.

Dr. Himedan completed her undergraduate education and medical degree in Sudan, where she gained valuable experience working in a variety of hospital settings and caring for diverse patient populations. After moving to the United States in 2017, she continued expanding her medical training at Denver Health, an externship in Michigan, and a telegeriatrics fellowship, which deepened her understanding of caring for older adults through remote care models. She has a special interest in women's health and child care and is dedicated to supporting families through compassionate care.

Outside of work, Dr. Himedan loves to cook and often shares her recipes with friends, family, and those in need, finding it a great way to connect with others. She also enjoys spending quality time with her kids and family, whether at home or outdoors. In addition, she finds joy in traditional design, blending cultural creativity with everyday life.
