About Malena Perdomo, RD

Malena Perdomo is a registered dietitian specializing in diabetes and nutrition at St. Anthony Family Medicine Center Orchard. Malena believes in a patient-centered approach, considering the whole person and guiding her care based on individual health goals. She is passionate about empowering patients to make sustainable lifestyle changes by personalizing their plans and making them enjoyable. Malena is fluent in English and Spanish. 

Malena earned her bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and went on to receive a master's degree in Nutrition Education from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She has been a certified Diabetes Educator since 2005 and became a certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional in 2024.

Outside of work, Malena enjoys spending her time gardening and traveling to new places.
