Experience your pharmacy residency in the heart of Colorado.

 Aleks Kolodziej was born in Siedlce, Poland, but spent most of her childhood in Colorado. She attended undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder to earn her Bachelor degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and a Masters in Clinical Toxicology from the University of Florida. 

Aleks completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Post residency training, Aleks started her career at Swedish Medical Center, and then joined the St. Anthony Hospital internal medicine pharmacy team in 2015. Aleks has served as the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Director since 2021.

Outside of work, Aleks spends her time chasing her toddler, baking, camping, and relaxing with a good book.

Jake is from Phoenix, Arizona, and went to Glendale Community College for his undergraduate curriculums before transitioning to the University of Arizona for his PharmD program. Jake’s main professional interest is cardiology, followed by emergency medicine. In his free time Jake enjoys playing video games, lifting weights, and hanging out with his cat Morgan. Jake’s favorite dinosaur is a spinosaurus.

Tariq is from Bakersfield, California, and went to San Francisco State University for his undergraduate studies where he earned a degree in Biology. He then played professional soccer for a year before transitioning to Regis University to obtain his PharmD. Professionally, Tariq is interested in exploring critical care and psychiatry, and looks forward to being exposed to different areas of clinical practice throughout the year. He currently enjoys distance hiking in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and hanging out with his cat Luna in between.

Anthony is from Thomaston, Maine, and completed both his undergraduate studies and PharmD curriculum at Husson University. His professional interests include internal medicine and infectious disease, and in his free time he enjoys exploring the Greater Denver Area, skiing, and playing with his cat, Crouton.
