About Katie Smith, PA-C

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in biology and chemistry, and her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies degree. Prior to joining CMG, she spent four years working in a family medicine/urgent care clinic developing a wide variety of family medicine and urgent care clinical skills.

Katie enjoys the full spectrum of family practice and has a particular interest in preventative care (well child checks, well woman exams routine physicals). She encourages healthy everyday living in order to avoid unnecessary prescriptive medications. She feels strongly in treating the whole person including body, mind, soul, and spirit. She likes to connect with patients to meet them where there at in life, offering them treatment options that are medically sound, up to date and fit with each person's individual lifestyle and beliefs. She also enjoys performing small procedures such as joint injections, biopsies, and laceration repairs.
