Our Services
Our Respiratory Care team offers a full spectrum of respiratory services to patients, including diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary conditions like RSV. Our diagnostic and screening capabilities include Pulmonary Function Tests and lung cancer screenings.
Lung Health Testing: Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) are a group of non-invasive tests that measure how well your lungs are working. They help us assess lung volume, capacity, airflow, and gas exchange.
PFTs help diagnose and monitor lung diseases, assess the severity of lung conditions, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. They can also help determine if lung problems are caused by allergies or other conditions.
Conditions benefiting from Pulmonary Function Tests:
- Asthma
- Chronic cough or wheezing
- COPD
- Emphysema
- Exposure to lung irritants (e.g., smoke, dust, chemicals)
- Pulmonary Fibrosis
- Pre-operative assessment for lung surgery
- Sarcoidosis
- Shortness of breath
