About Peggy Wallace, NP
Peggy Wallace, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and post-ostomy care at the Hyperbaric and Wound Center at Holy Cross Hospital - Davis. Peggy's care philosophy centers around empathy and patient-centeredness. She believes in truly listening to her patients, understanding the profound impact wounds can have on their lives, and valuing their concerns. She is committed to being fully invested in promoting wound healing and goes the extra mile to educate patients on the crucial role of nutrition in their recovery.
Peggy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Before joining CommonSpirit Health, she spent five years at Intermountain Health specializing in wound, ostomy, and fistula management. Peggy has also completed the Wound Therapy Associate course and an advanced wound course at Emory University. She is a trained and credentialed hyperbaric oxygen treatment provider and is a certified lymphedema therapist with 10 years of experience.
Outside of work, Peggy likes creating new recipes and making dishes from cultures around the world. She also enjoys being outdoors, especially hiking and cycling, as well as planting and landscaping. She was an avid scuba diver when she lived in Japan.
