Hernia Surgery

Worried you have a hernia?

The hernia experts at Specialty Surgery West Jordan can help. Give us a call at 801-604-4423 to request a consultation to see how you can begin to end hernia pain and improve your quality of life.

What are the signs of hernia?

There are many different types of hernias, which may be accompanied by groin pain or heartburn or may arise following stomach surgery. Watch for:

  • Stomach bulge: Several hernias are associated with the stomach. If you are experiencing pain, nausea, swelling and aching, hernia surgery could be the answer.

  • Heartburn: Hernias are also associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Other symptoms can include difficulty swallowing food and drinks, or chest pain.

If hernias go untreated, they may lead to more pain, swelling, acid reflux, nausea, stomach or groin pain, and increased discomfort in your daily activities. If you are experiencing any of the above hernia symptoms, call 801-604-4423 to schedule a consultation with one of our hernia specialists.
