Program Summary:
The St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency is offering a Faculty Development/Junior Faculty Fellowship Position. This non-ACGME accredited position in our residency program lasts for one year (August 1 to July 31). During the fellowship, the fellow will work on training in leadership, teaching, and scholarly activity. Clinically, there are up to 10 weeks each year of attending inpatient medicine or obstetric/newborn nursery coverage. Fellows take part in faculty attending call averaging two to three weeknights a month. There are four half-days of outpatient clinic and one to two half-days of clinic precepting a week when not attending inpatient services. The remaining time is set aside for administrative duties, academics, and scholarly projects. The successful candidate will apply for the University of North Carolina Faculty Development Fellowship program or similar longitudinal program to participate in over the year. The position includes the cost of the off-site program and travel to the sessions.

Dr. Mason Gedlaman, MD, is a family medicine physician and a Faculty Development Fellow at St. Anthony North Hospital. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, equitable, and patient-centered care within a community setting. He is passionate about meeting the diverse needs of all his patients, fostering a supportive and understanding environment for their healthcare journey.
Dr. Gedlaman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Montana before pursuing his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He then completed his Family Medicine Residency at St. Anthony North, further solidifying his expertise and commitment to comprehensive family care.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Gedlaman is a passionate basketball fan (go Nuggets!), enjoys strategic board games, and likes to hit the golf course. Most importantly, he cherishes spending quality time with his wife and their dogs.
About Randy Xun
Randy Xun is a Washington native, who has lived all over the United States, but is excited to finally call Colorado home. He enjoys hiking, soccer, tennis, pub trivia, and Broadway musicals.
Why he chose this program
Randy wanted to find a place where he could continue doing full-scope family medicine, while at the same time be allowed to cultivate his interests in a supportive environment.
